1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using CSV Workbench, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

CSV Workbench provides CSV data validation, schema generation, and data quality tools through:

  • Free Tier (fully functional; CSV files up to 500MB)
  • Workbench Client web-based dashboard
  • Enterprise on-premises solutions

3. User Accounts and Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Ensuring your use complies with applicable laws and regulations
  • Not sharing your account with unauthorized users
  • Promptly notifying us of any security breaches

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for illegal activities or to violate others' rights
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service
  • Use the service to process malicious or harmful data

5. Subscription and Payment Terms

Free Tier Workbench Client: Fully functional; supports CSV files up to 500MB. Community support.

Pro Tier Workbench Client: Monthly subscription. No credit card required to begin trial.

Pro Tier subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time through your account settings.

6. Intellectual Property

CSV Workbench software is proprietary. The Free Tier and paid Pro Tier are licensed products; no portion of the software is offered as open source.

You retain all rights to your CSV files and the data witihin them. We claim no ownership over your content.

7. Limitation of Liability

  • CSV Workbench is provided "as is" without warranties.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
  • You are responsible for backup up all CSV files PRIOR to manipulation by our software.
  • Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the service in the past 12 months.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. Upon termination, your access to paid features will cease, but you may continue using the Free Tier, subject to its limitations (CSV files up to 500MB). We will provide reasonable notice for service changes.
